Anti-spam

The Anti-spam module in AscensionBot — what it does and how to configure it.

A separate system from AutoMod's word filter — this one catches spam by rate and pattern, not by content. It measures message-rate bursts against an adaptive per-channel baseline, so a fast-moving fun channel doesn't get punished as harshly as a quiet info room. It also catches duplicate-text spam, mention spam, and URL floods. Thresholds, the punishment applied, and the log channel are all configurable, along with exempt roles.
